Plaid Van Gogh à l'ami series flax

 

This large living blanket is 210 x 160 cm. The flax-coloured textile with a red pattern is of heavy quality ant traditionally jacquard woven in Flanders. Woven into the fabric are Van Gogh's signature and his words 'à l'ami', which is taken from Van Gogh's still life Basket of Apples, which he dedicated to his friend Lucien Pisarro.
